Can fitness & yoga make you superhuman?

Our first talk at The Naturally You Day 2014 #NYD2014 will be from an amazing couple called Sematawi Kagemni and Heket Nedjety, entitled:

"How Anyone Can Use Fitness & Yoga To Become Superhuman" at Talk 1 in the Learning Zone at 12:45pm


In this talk, they'll be taking you on a journey towards becoming Super Human. According to statistics, today’s human lives to an average of 65 and starts deteriorating after birth. No one likes the sound of that! So they've put together an outline of practical steps to raise the quality of life we live through Kemetic Yoga and Holistic Fitness. Sematawi's Profile 


Sematawi Kagemni is an international author, inspiring motivational speaker and personal trainer who encourages people to embrace their mind, body and soul if they want to see positive results. 

A renowned Holistic Enthusiast and Practitioner, Holistic Nutritionist and Kemetic (Ancient African) Yoga Instructor - his energetic, unorthodox, spiritual yet rebellious approach to life and his fitness regimes has dubbed him the “Rebel Yogi” resulting with clients willing to forfeit their comfort zone despite the mental and physical anguish in order to achieve their personal goals. 

Hailing from Miami via the Caribbean Sematawi can be as fiery as the volcano on his native island, Montserrat and consumes 5 hours of nutrition information daily in his own personal practise and finds an orgasmic joy in destroying health myths of all kinds. 

Eat, sleeps and breathe all things fitness, Sematawi’s passion ranges from avocados, blood and bones to hormones and he was inspired to launch his company KGG (Khepera Greener-G) in 2010 to fulfil his own personal goal in helping others to become the best that they can be through Holistic Healing. 

Unlike other PTs who mainly focus on the physical aspect of their client, Sematawi advocates a lifestyle of living of “right consumption” and “right action” in order to attain righteousness. Heket's Profile 


Heket “Charmaine” Nedjety is the embodiment of Mother Nature. For the last 7 years she has been steadfast on her path of healing as a Birth Doula, Pregnancy Yoga Teacher, Life Coach, and Womb Wellness Speaker. 

She launched her company “NATURE’S NEDJETY” to help bring her extraordinary visions of wellness to life. A doula is a person who supports the family through pregnancy and more so the physiology of childbirth as well as offering continual care. Hekets fiery passion for new life has transformed her into a pillar of knowledge regarding the subject. This diligent infinite student has acquired extensive knowledge on fertility, pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and beyond along the way. 

Since a child she has been longing to enter and add her contributions to a field as such. Her journey teaching Pregnancy Yoga started about 4 years ago. Pregnancy Yoga is a great way to not only work the body in an essential way for moms-to-be, but also to provide a good preparation for the baby, breath, mind for delivery and post natal care. This gentle practice promotes relaxation and alleviates aches and pains that can come with pregnancy. Within her practice relaxation and visualisation techniques are used to support and prepare for birth. Whether you are experienced in yoga or just a beginner you will find pregnancy yoga both invigorating and enjoyable. 

Some would easily call Heket a science nerd or space cadet for her being a hysterical fan for anything of pertaining to science, creation, The Universe and beyond. She prides herself on being an adventurous, travelling, fun-loving person. Taking off her shoes to put her feet in the grass in order to connect to Mother Earth is just the rootsy personality of this Aquarian. She is a lioness by all means, peaceful and royal in her splendour but still a protectress and will rise to the occasion when threatened.   1. It is better to keep whole exercise routine 100% planned, set in stone, prior to beginning your workout. Decide in advance which yoga videos you are going to follow and how many reps you must beat.
